I got an email from SilverStyle, the people behind The Fall:

I remember the days when Carsten Strehse said that the game
would be released in Germany and the US simultaneously. Then again, I
remember the days when Carsten Strehse said that The Fall would be the
game Fallout 3 fans have been waiting for.

It looks familiar, is it Project Phoenix or whatever its name was? The combat and interface look like they're straight out of the new UFO games. At least the screenshots look nice. This one reminds me of Martian Dreams.

No, it's The Fall. Made by Silver Style who made Soldiers of Anarchy. TF was released in Germany, etc and has had about 20 or so patches.

no, the "ETC" did not yet happen, there's been constant delaying of publishing in other countries. It's like stalker but on a smaller scale. Check out these:

Really? You HAVE been gone awhile, then.

We're fondly remembering the days when Carsten said that all bugs would be fixed in <s>1.1</s> <s>1.2</s> <s>1.25</s> <s>1.3</s> <s>1.4</s> <s>1.5</s> <s>1.50</s> <s>1.6</s> <s>1.666</s> <s>1.7</s> <s>1.8</s> <s>1.9</s> sometime in the year 2010. We're still waiting for the next funny, though, and here's to hoping we can make him run away in tears again.
