Hemp is the industrial form. GW apparently did also grow a bit of the
"medicinal" variety, but I doubt he treated it as a consumer fetish
worthy of its own alternative religion.

Give me a break. Why can't we simply establish that mariuana use by responsible adults isn't any dangerous to society than alcohol? or perhaps even less responsible, and more responsibe to psychological investigation???

Jesus was a real character, for sure, and considered to be one of the most influential philosophers of mankind's history (duh!). The mumbo-jumbo about the healing people and ressurrecting the dead stuck to the story later on, like at the time of Stalin they thought he could fly and FIREARM COMBAT super-nazi-soldats one on one unarmed fighting muzzle breaking action while surviving a holocaust of nuclear kabombas. Propaganda, really.

And yeah, marijuana/cannabis whatever is less harmful to the user AND to the surrounding people than alcohol. Yet we have that bloody drug legal and cannabis illegal, blame the white man, yo!

By the gist of it, you've not yet* been on either receiving end of drug (in this instance, hash) induced psychosis. Any alteration to 'normal' brain chemistry holds potential for disaster. 'Tis both the failing and triumph of the individual. No melodrama.

The comparison between alcohol and other intoxicants and their respective threat and risk levels is no where near as simplistic as you suggest. By the minutiae of individual response and the unfeasibility of definitively comprehensive trials, even i.e arsenic is beyond being truthfully painted as 'dangerous/harmful/et al without exception' and/or 'riskier than <another dicey chemical>'.

Regardless, done to death. Haven't the spleen for a repeat. Might as well declare the alleged discrepancy for what it is - null, and realise that both substances boast a delightful array of hazards. Only a fuckwit would care to bank on either, either way.
