Haris has let us know about a Fallout MUD-type game called <a href="http://ashworld.webd.pl/" target="_blank">Ashworld</a>. Here's a little snippet from their FAQ:<blockquote>What is the AshWorld?
AshWorld is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Plaing Game). The world of AshWorld is mostly based on the great computer games: Fallout and Fallout 2.
If it is an RPG what can I do?

At first it seemed like crap. But once i realised i can kill other players to gain exp and money it was pretty fun. Just go in to ladder section and fight players in the same area as you are.

For example if you are in Ncr you can attack all other players that are in Ncr. And you can allso buy items in shops that are in that town.

If you die you can just heal up by using first aid or doctor skill and fight again. You cant fight dead players and you gain crap exp and money if you kill critically wounded players.

Wow, you can kill players for exp and cash and then buy items in shops. That sounds amazing! Why hasn't anyone thought of that before!?

Well i got to admit that i wouldnt play it longer than 2 minutes if it wasnt fallout world. But there is something fun about killing other fallout fans.

it's ok... but it's alpha and there's plenty of stuff still not implemented... you only fight and chit so it's useless to create any other than high-end fighter

Grateful? Why? The problem is that server is not built for a greater traffic. It's just beta version.

Do you think that the makers of AW are not able to send message to DaC or NMA to inform about their project if they want to?

Yea like i could have known they had shit server. Nobody uses bandwidth limited servers anymore. Thats total ripoff. In Sweden you can get for 12 crowns wich is about 1.2 euros per month server with unlimited bandwidth and 500mb space and ASP/PHP/MySQL suport wich is needed for AW.

Oh and one more thing. Fuck off.

I'm afraid to say this, but I actually agree with Haris on this one. If you're setting up any sort of a page which is more than likely to have plenty of visitors (I kinda thought that having many players was the *whole point* of such multiplayer games, or games in general?) you should be prepared to handle them as well
