But then I decided I should try their weird way as well, because hey, you never know until you tried it.
So yeah, I guess I'm an homo too, because this game is awesome

This reminds me of my adventure with Cave Story. Just replace "homo" with "wapanese" and nicks with "Anonymous"S4ur0n27 wrote:So NL kept harrassing me about this game : "play it!", "it's the best game ever!!", "it rocks", "I'm a homo", "get it", and on and on. And so I thought "Damn, this guy is a homo". But then Nico went at it, too, so thought they were both homos.

The best thing about this game is that you're free to explore a dynamic universe full of traders, pirates, other Rangers and so on. The universe lives its own life, completely independent of you. For example, you can team up with other rangers/fighters and go on a co-op attack against Dominators and 'liberate' a system in the galaxy. There's a huge war going on in the galaxy, which is randomly created every time you start a new game. Don't mind about the screenshots as they only show the RTS part for some reason and is the weakest part of the game, in my opinion. You can choose what quests you want to do and they change frequently. I don't know if there's a demo, but check out the short movie.POOPERSCOOPER wrote:I've been meaning to try this game but I don't know if I will like it. Looks like a strat/sim for star trek nuts.
Simply don't accept the quests or don't finish them in time. Or if you're in RTS mode, retreat from the battle and you'll be thrown into jail, which is another fun text adventure but gets repetitive if you do that often. The universe is full of planets, so just choose the quests you want to do.S4ur0n27 wrote:Also, VasikkA, how can you skip these RTS battles?
