Kamaz dropped by to let me know about PostCity, a post apocalyptic LARP event taking place in Latvia.<blockquote>I am from Latvia, which is one of the Baltic

It's not like anyobody would ask that. We made that movie and I thought it was fine enough to show you it.

The stuff that guy is saying is about 9/11 and the Third World War which was different kind of war -- war of terroracts eventually leading to isolation of some countries and mass panic, chaos. There were some sects that announced end of the world after events of 9/11, in this setting, they were right. Some of those fanatics built special hideouts, bomb shelters or vaults to preserve themselves...the game is about one such sect which hid under ground for 12 years and now is forced to abbandon the shelter.

I didn't even think that Latvia was a real place. Some person mentioned it to me at some point or another and since it was a person who routinely made shit up I said to them, "Dude, stop making shit up."

I finally got around to downloading that huge video. It's actually pretty well done...nice use of the Fallout soundtrack, interesting location. Don't really know what's being said though...

Hrm, for me the speed starts at 520k/s and falls down to as low at 7k/s. I always end up cancelling it.

fallout soundtrack is great, but it won't redeem a series of blurred uninteresting still photos, nor will a gas mask or two. The only agreeable bit was combining the burning WTC photos with other stuff to create an illusion of war. But that's but a small fraction og the whole "movie" (not much moves in it tho)
