ZOMG-BIES
<strong>[ Game -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... imus">Game: Exanimus</a>
<p><strong>Geno</strong> has let us know that there's a new MMORPG in the works called Exanimus (surely a candidate for Rex's new nickname).
Whilst usually I have no interest in new MMORPGs, Geno mentioned the
words zombies, post-apocalyptic, horror-genre and playing as one of the
dead roaming the earth. Along with emo-piano and specialist porn, those
are some of my favourite things! <a target="_self" href="http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?si ... ss">Stolen from Slashdot</a>,
</p>
<blockquote>
<p><em>
Warcry has a very short blurb about <a href="http://www.warcry.com/scripts/news/view ... d=52757">a just announced Horror-genre Massively Multiplayer game</a>. Titled <a href="http://www.exanimusthegame.com/">Exanimus</a></em><em>, the game looks to be set in a post-apocalyptic zombie setting. From the piece: </em><em>"While
most of the world is dead, there are small pockets of survivors that
exist in barricaded cities across the globe. Players of Exanimus will
have the option of playing as a living survivor or as one of the dead
roaming the earth. Exanimus will allow players to experience a MMO
based in a horror genre by creating a dark and visually "intense"
environment. Exanimus is expected to be rated "Mature" and not intended
for anyone under the age of 18."</em></p>
</blockquote>
<p>If the game looks like it's going to be decent, I may even play it. The concept is a good one.

Will there be non-zombie induced population impositions 'pon The Few, The Living, so as to accurately illustrate the inane dichotomy so fondly recalled from many a zombie film and 'logic' (if and as it applies, which it does) to such a hypothetical scenario ?
I suspect not.
Though.
I don't know.
And.
I don't care.

How this is different from any other MMORPG out there?1554 wrote:While

Oh well, aiming at Mature is promising somehow.
Serious Business.

During my last 2000 year slumber I have dreamt the world has turned its back on me. All of mankind has continued fighting and developing more efficient ways of killing each other. One day nearing the end of my dream, man had made a weapon so grand that it could swallow entire cities whole. Man had then decided not to use this weapon anymore until I return.Wolfman Walt wrote:What exactly does Jesus dream about?
I have returned and now it is only a matter of time, but there is hope. In the final moments of my slumber I dreamt of some things divine. Not just one thing divine but two, and they where called Fallout and Fallout2.
Now that I have returned however, when I sleep...
I dream of kittens.
I have returned! (again)
FIGHT ME!
FIGHT ME!
