Timmy?

Post by XILLER »

The first time I plaed through I came accreoss the quest to find him and never found him but when I got the child patch I found him. What kind of an idiot leaves a uncompleatable quest in the game and then releases it? I was wondering how many other mistakes like this are there?

Theres a shitloa dof incomplete/uncompleteable quests but this specific timmy one isnt the developers fault but the British censors and the idiots who hacked the game up.

Hmm... I feel a list coming:
The uncomplete list of FO2 unfinished stuff (feel free to add to):
The keycard from the vertibird crash (DAMN THAT THING TO HELL!!!!!! AAAAAGH! :x )
Hubologists (V. annoying)
That tribal guy from the raider base (also v. annoying)
The secret mordino base there was gonna be.
The Tribal village there was going to be.

Damn... What else was there?

It's funnt though how the only things which might be frustrating are the hubbologists, the yellow keycard and sulik's sister.

Eveyrthing else is never implies you "missing" anything, and for that matter the neither the card nor the hubbologists actually make implications in helping you finish the game... So all in all, the only frustrating thing I find is Sulik's sister.

But if you choose the hubologist route, doesn't it make it difficult (if not impossible) to complete the game? :?

No, there's still 2 ways to "fix" it: get low int and talk to ASH-9 (I still need to test this so this ins't necessarely valid), and convince Dave H. to reroute the fuel.

Aha! Thanks for that.
I wouldn't know, because i just see the hubologists as so much target practice.

Aha! The Abbey, mentioned in the Cafe of Broken Deams by young Tandi! She says you can see Ian there, right? :)

In San Fransisco at the docks where the morning lines are attatched there is a rettina scanner and unusable computer I heard that had something to do with the sub.

I think you were originally going to have to disable the submarines auto defense systems so you could safely leave harbor or something. But they took it out, because it made the quest an even bigger Fedex quest.
