pop-up hell

what's with the new pop-ups? they bypass my pop-up blocker, and keep serving me green card invitations. please get rid of them. in return, i promise to click the jamba ringtones-ad till my fingers get numb.

seems i'm not the only one, either.

Opera is good, but FF is better regarding spam blocking of all sorts

NoScript and Adblock are addons for FF, the filterlist for Adblock contains most bad internet adresses and blocks them automatically, NoScript lets you allow which internet sites may use Javascript, which is neat.

thanks for the info, but i've got my whole life in opera: web, download manager, e-mail, rss, bittorrent, irc. i'll just have to alter some .ini settings, if i can find them. unless talantuin or some other admin can fix things?

At work I use IE and no pop-up blocking software, no adaware, and I only get a pop-up every 8 hours
