...Summons work as defenders only. I've gotten one summon scroll that supposedly kills everything in sight, but that's a quest thingy.

I hate how you can't assassinate people or something? Whenever you do a sneak attack one someone sleeping, he just wakes up and the guards are summoned.

no... just use a dagger to give as much sneak attack as possible.
For some times, my claymore sneak attacks for x2, but my dagger hits for x6. I'm pretty sure the dagger makes a coup-de-grace or something like that.

Also, make sure to hit them in the back/head/back of the head.

I'm not sure but if I sneak attack with a bow, there's higher damage on the head? dunno...
