Because your's are the ONLY mods from gamespot. That doesn't make you popular, it just means that Gamespot doesn't have a very large selection of mods for Fallout 2. It's like winning a race by default, that doesn't mean you're the best, it just means you're the only one out there.
What's your general opinion on the main plot and the quests/ideas we have designed so far
My general opinion from what I've read thus far, and please note that it's not a lot, is that it's a very well constructed plot. Everything is being carefully and not just put in because "OH IT'S COOL!" The mod team is very competent, as are the writers and I honestly expected something a bit less proffesional. The quest ideas are fairly original and extend beyond simple fetch quests and have some bearing on the plot. It's also pretty considerate of Fallout canon. I've only read the stuff on the section I'm helping with mind you, but the city was well thought out with a variety of things to do that don't really on simple repetition to buff your character up to be enjoyable. Just my general opinion ofcourse, however the fact that I joined FMF has very little to do with the opinion that Wasteland merc just isn't good and Haris is a convoluted nitwit with a propesnity to fluff his own ego till he appears borderline megalomaniacal. Since I'm still new to the project however, I'd think Agrajag or DU should speak more on the subject or...maybe just not talk about it right now, since we really don't have anything to show I don't wish to seem like a braggart or anything
Why am i not suprised by this?
Occasionally bad mods such as your's inspires others to work harder to make something that possesses quality.
