Rogue Trooper

This is a game nobody will probably hear about. It's a 3rd person shooter based on the 2000AD comic of the same name. The developer is Rebellion, who brought us one of the best FPS's of all time, Aliens vs. Predator (the Monolith sequel was shit in comparison). They're last game was the mediocre to crap Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death on PC and later the Xbox.

For a budget game Rogue Trooper looks pretty good. I'm always rooting for Rebellion to return to the glory days of AvP and it looks like they may have finally nailed it. The first reviews are extremely positive. It's coming out May for PS2, Xbox and PC. Check the Rogue Trooper site for details on story and whatever.

Hm, the comic was pretty solid, so I suppose that I'm going to have to pick the game up when it hits the bargain bins.

Rebellion does bring back some pleasant old memories. I'll definately check it out.
