I'm running.
-Processor: AMD64, 3000+
-Memory: 1024 MB RAM
-Graphics Card:GeForce 6800
It runs poorly with the setting at "Ubber Low".

It is much like the first GR but a bit suckyer (not that it really sucks, just GR1 was freakin fantasmic). You actually have health, you can get shot in the head with a pistol three times before it hurts you. That and it seems kind of glitchy. Other than that it seems pretty intense (I dunno I've only done the first two missions). It's just another FPS.Thor Kaufman wrote:Is it a good straight FPS or one of those sneaky shit pseudo FPS?

Very choppy. It tends to slow down alot if there is lots going on (like a big fire fight).

Thanks for all the tips...
I'm just going to try installing the patch and see if that helps. Until than, I probably will not play it again until the next Sunday or latter. It's fun, but not enough to spend my precious few spare hours on the weekdays playing it, it’s more of a time killer game.

I played the GRAW demo right after I had been playing SWAT4 for awhile and I saw the commands for your teammates and I was a bit tired of doing that so I stopped. I remeber it running pretty bad on my computer and it looks horrible at lower settings.
Who would of thought Killzig would become a console whore?

I held out for as long as I could. But ... most of the major titles (read: resource hogs) that I am interested in playing (RS: Vegas, GRAW, Mass Effect, Bioshock, FO3) will all likely be available on the 360. With the console I have the added bonus of the social element. Like this weekend we were sitting around playing Rockstar's Table Tennis. Which was pretty addictive, finally -- pong gets updated. I think Rise of Legends and AoE3 are also coming to the 360, how good that'll be -- I don't know. But basically, if most of the major titles (resource hogs) I want to play will be coming to a console near me then I have no reason to spend 500$ on a GFX card/ram/upgrades for my pc when I can spend the same amount on an all in one kit that's going to save me the aggravation of installation/patches/drivers/etc.POOPERSCOOPER wrote:I played the GRAW demo right after I had been playing SWAT4 for awhile and I saw the commands for your teammates and I was a bit tired of doing that so I stopped. Now the only things I play on my PC are the oldies like Fallout, Arcanum, etc... recently I reinstalled Bloodlines to give it another run through ... I think the majority of my PC gaming, though, is going to be stuff like Space Rangers 2. More niche market games that aren't going to task my machine but offer the world as far as gameplay goes. That leaves my PC's hd pristine for work, piracy and just about whatever else I want to use it for. I just don't have a reason to come back to PC gaming. -- unless Fallout 3 is PC only. and yeah, I am fully expecting it to suck but it's Fallout and I can't say no.
The answer to your first question is shaddup.

obviously the answer is for all of us to burn all our worldly and material possessions in some giant global bonfire and live as monks. We can roam around the country side extolling the virtues of poverty and thanking God for the beauty that is nature.VasikkA wrote:Success tends to corrupt game developers, so I'd be careful who to support if at all.
