Anybody know where the bus is? And other questions
...I've seen it ( I think)
They were going to use it in the game except it was too long and the animation was wonked.
I don't want to use it as a drivable vehicle...just a little decoration.
How do you copy and paste buildings from one map to the other?
After 12 maps I'm getting kinda lazy.. ( and frustrated...I'd like to get this done before the turn of the century)
I heard that someone got the tank to be AI contolled...except the treads ran backwards...I don't care...and I don't think anyone else would notice.
Glad someone got the sprite editor working...I guess I could make my own now...sheesh..more work.
Some of the maps have over a 500 lines of speech, 50 +triggers, 50 +waypoint paths...and it even changes after you come back!

Select every tile in the building. Then go to the tab next to Tiles, hit SAVE AS CLIP. Then in the next map, click Open Clips or something else to that effect and find the file you saved.. Paste and enjoy.

IIRC the sprite isn't even in the game, although there are a couple of vestigial reference to it. Section 8 -- who used to post here ages ago and was involved with making FoT -- said that it was too long to turn and hence was scrapped. Well, you're making a mod, not a professionally designed game, so I agree that you could slide on the reversing tracks. However, I'm not aware of anything regarding having gotten the tank AI-controlled. Mind you, it's been over a year since I was active w/the FoT modding scene, but unless they modified the sprite the fact that AI controlled "beings" have only 8 animation rotations versus a vehicle's 32 pretty much kills any use of those unmodified sprites.ogreb wrote:I heard that someone got the tank to be AI contolled...except the treads ran backwards...I don't care...and I don't think anyone else would notice.

I have the game...except disc 1 melted ( I left it on a window sill)
I already have several maps made ( triggers, waypoints, speech, zones etc finished)
I had to quit for awhile ( life interferred...damn life!) but now I have the time to finish.
The demo will be out this fall if not sooner...I hope!
Save me a bunch of work..

Still looking for it. As I had said in a post about the editer, had a hard drive crash. While I always have backups, takes awhile to go thru them. The Sprite was around 7Meg If I remeber correctly, the tile was quite smaller, so I could send the tile, but the Sprite my E-mail want do over 2Meg. Will let you know when I find em.
