MAELSTORM: The Battle For Earth Begins

Post by ApTyp »

[ Game -> Preview ]

What is Maelstorm: The Battle For Earth Begins? Basically, it's a RTS post apoc, 2 human sides (military and religious nuts), and some genocidal alien race. The environments look rather nice too, lots of burnt out buildings.

It has genre-redefining RTS gameplay featuring deformable and destructible landscapes, 3 unique races to choose from for a high level of tactical options, a gripping storyline from respected SF writer James Swallow, known for writing two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager as well as a score of tie-in novels, and a cutting-edge graphics engine bringing combat to life like never before.

The developers of Maelstorm: The Battle For Earth Begins are world-reknown Russian game developing company called KD Vision Games, with such hits behind their belt as Perimeter, Vangers, <a href="http://www.kdlab.com/products/product_v ... mogonki, Bratja Piloti 3D, Bratja Piloti 3D-2: Tayni Kluba Sobakovodov, and Krugly Schot.

Keep your eyes peeled for this one, gentlemen! Thanks a bunch to Stainless for the heads-up, you're a real champ!

They boast, of this !?

Nonetheless, Vangers was cackle worthy daft. Quite the achievement. Will keep a lazy pair of eyes on this, though they may well wander. :drunk:

^ No, it's not for all your fallout needs. I think this site attracts more swell guy, shitheads, losers, and thread-hijackers than it does Fallout fans. This site should be renamed the Steamy pile of Horse shit or aka SPHS- For all your not-Fallout needs.

Spelling incorrect, world crashing down, Codemasters losing money on people asking for a MAELSTORM box instead of MAELSTROM...
