Aussie Army vs. Toxic Toads
Aussie Army vs. Toxic Toads
<strong>[ Community -> Article ]</strong>
The Australian <strong>military </strong>are set to take on an <strong>army of toxic toads.</strong>
<p>The
poisonous cane toad was initially introduced to the Northern Territory
to try and control beetles that were ravaging the sugar cane fields.</p>
<p>But this pest <strong>needs military action</strong>.</p>
<p>The
toad is marching <em>relentlessly</em> across northern Australia and now the
West Australian Government has stepped in to intercept the
environmental barbarians.</p>
<p>State
Environmental Minister Mark McGowan has written to the Defence Minister
asking for permission to use soldiers in the neighbouring Northern
Territory to <strong>kill the toads</strong>.</p>
<p>"We'd seek the Commonwealth to help us in fighting this <em>terrible threat</em> to native fauna in Western Australia", he said.</p>
<p>"<strong>It's time to take action.</strong>"</p>
<p>Cane
toads have poisonous sacs full of venom on the back of their heads
which are so powerful, they can kill many predators, including
crocodiles and snakes, in minutes.</p>
<p>All previous attempts to <em>kill </em>the toad have <strong>failed</strong>.</p>

Given that they are a remarkably satisfying substitute for golf balls, I am glad that this latest initiative too, will fail. Bereft of journalistic integrity, alas.

So basically, I hooked up with my man for some walk-about, and all we found was a dirty creek and a gutted wallet with some condoms and a pocket bible. At which point I have decided that this wasteground was a bit shit. The city council agreed with us about a year after, bulldozing 30% of the property for an open sky parking garage.
i bet it still sucks ass, though.
My granpaw had the best hunting knife ever.

Sound is important. Almost as important as selection of club. Which doesn't matter. Vital, even. It simply wouldn't be the same cheerful, wanton act of malice were it mute. With patience, they seldom realise their tenuous situation until that fleeting moment of communication, sometimes not even then, I suspect. Location can render even the most unambiguous of messages moot. Writing of, the venue was of significance, as it allowed an unobstructed view of a highway below.
Oh, the mess they made of those cars. Classic.

I envy you. However, don't you get that venom on yourself? I think it might squirt upon the sudden.. contactBlargh wrote:Sound is important. Almost as important as selection of club. ¥500 on the toads.
DAC- For all your fallout needs.
^ No, it's not for all your fallout needs. I think this site attracts more swell guy, shitheads, losers, and thread-hijackers than it does Fallout fans. This site should be renamed the Steamy pile of Horse shit or aka SPHS- For all your not-Fallout needs.

While goggles, a face mask of some sort, sensible boots and protective clothing in general could be logically recommended to the neophyte of this noble sport, with some experience and a thoughtful choice of target, such is only a problem for anyone near the point of impact. They can achieve remarkable distances and remain relatively . . . intact. Suffice it to say I've not suffered thusly. Yes.PiP wrote:I envy you. However, don't you get that venom on yourself?
