A hookah has two or four pipes connected to it.

A shisha has only one, which is apparently the way you are supposed to do it (according to traditions and the beliefs of my Marrocan friends).

Correct. We call it nargilla, and as far as I know arabs call it nargilla as well.. but if you check out dictionary.com , hookah's from Arabic, and narghile is actually from French. Shisha is, it turns out, syn for all those names. But we call it nargilla, so fuck anyone who disagrees with me.

Incorrect. A nargilla can be hooked up with more pipes, though it's usually just one. You just got variations of nargilla, and that's that.

Drum isn't bad. The only people I know who smoke Drum are dutchmen though.

And a 3 to 4 foot tall hookah is huge.
My stoner associate has a tiny, 6 inch tall, hookah.
Most of the ones I've either seen or used are around 1 to 2 foot tall.
