There's alot of room for enjoyment pre-release of Fallout 3, and that sort of weighs up. Seeing people running about going "OHGODOHGODOHGOD", or "I'm sure they'll do a pretty good job." and let's not forget "FALLOUT 3 FPS WILL R0XX0RZ!! LOL!" is close to hilarity, especially considering the soon to come announcement that F3 is in fact merely a codename for an fps Baldur's Gate follow-up.
It's all very saddening. The other day at Big Lots I picked up Lionheart for 5 dollars. Little did I know that it wasn't worth the coaster it was printed on, not to mention 5 of my hard earned dollars.
Such wasted potential, that. But I should have known, considering I'd never really heard of it beforehand. Only some game that sucked that I thought might possibly have been almost called something like Lionheart. And so too probably with this upcoming shooteriffic ES:FO3 nonsense.
At least I'll have some kickass CnC 3 action soon... or not.

I made the same mistake, don't feel bad. I was like "Hey, it's made by black isle! It can't be that bad!" Little did I know then!!! The first city is fairly fun and interesting, even if the combat sucks (Hey, we like Planetscape: Torment for it's story, not its combat after all) so I tried really hard to want to make it through. About 1/3 of the way in it just became a shitty version of Diablo minus any sort of fun.box wrote:It's all very saddening. The other day at Big Lots I picked up Lionheart for 5 dollars. The plethora of pseudo-historical cameo caricatures could certainly cause cancer. Illumination in eye, I lost interest at the thinly veiled invitation to repeat what should not have been yet was. Threw it, somewhere.
Elsewhere.
Much to shock and surprise, I did acquire something of worth from the ordeal. It was a gift, I am now confident of what was once merely suspicion.

I made the same mistake with Tribes:Vengeance, that 4.99$ could have been used to buy T2(the PS:T of multiplayer FPSs, complex, yet infinitely simple )box wrote:It's all very saddening. What kind of film are we talking about here? Because I sure hate the film that forms on my glass when I pour out some tap water.
Oh that's just Lake Erie's gift...
