I don't normally post up rumours that some guy heard from someone else whose girlfriend got from her hairdresser's cousin, but this particular rumour I've heard independantly from multiple people. Bear in mind it is a rumour, but I'd say it's a fairly reliable one, and it's now leaking onto message boards (see <a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewto ... VDweller's post</a> at NMA) so I figured I'd post it up.
What I've heard is what we all know was bound to happen anyway - that Bethesda have locked some of Fallout 3's features, namely, its combat (that won't be turnbased) and its viewpoint (that isn't isometric). Like I said, the stuff we knew was coming, but still kind of sucks.

Rumors rumors rumors. What is this? Oblivion? Where have you heard about these supposed "locks"? Vault Dweller isn't really someone who's "rumors" I would tend to believe.

Regardless of whether its a rumor or not, I'd like to insist that this changes nothing.
We still wont buy the game if its chit (like oblivion), and it will be chit with realtime combat (most likely).
Should it be true then, some ppl wont buy.

The sad part though is that it doesnt matter.
Somehow bethsoft manage to sell really awful games in great numbers.
I have no idea how, but I suspect child rape (and horse porn) is involved.
Poor innocent raped sods are so traumatized that they somehow think that bethsoft games are the best evar.
