The irony here is pretty cool. A developer wants to make a game real time, and the publisher demands that they make it turn-based, against the developer's wishes since they don't want to narrow their audience.POOPERSCOOPER wrote:I'm all for more Jagged Alliance but ever since there was the faisco where the team was making it real time becuase htey thought TB was too old and then strategy first came in and kicked their asses, i've been a bit leary.
Good to see the publishers know their audience. Making an RTS game in an already crowded genre is just stupid, but making a TBS game to fit a niche market but one that is quite healthy overall is MUCH smarter. I'm definitely keen on this game again.Mr. Teatime wrote:The irony here is pretty cool. It may be just a rumor, but I hear that TCancer, a super awesome strategy gaming and taxedermy site, will be doing their own Jagged Alliance 3D interview with Mist Land soon.
Will this interview change life as we know it and usher in a New Golden Age?
Yes. Yes it will.

We have cheap and easy to get prescription drugs? They're to the Codex what Canada is to the States
And now that I think about it, the analogy is kinda strange since most of the Codex staff members are Canadian while the key TCancer staff are American. What does it all mean?!?
