Ok, I'm playing Fallout 2 again, but I got addicted to Buffout, stupidly overwrote my savegame and now am stuck with constant withdrawal effects. I am looking for an editor to ease my pain, so I looked at all the processes in this forum, until I encountered a series of problems:

1) The forum is full of broken links

Namely, most of the links in the FAQ refer to www.duckandcover.net, and when I replace .net with .cx, it says: "File not found". Looking for the files on the net is a pain in the ass, but I guess I'll have to resort to that :@

2) Do I even need the editor to just remove the addiction? ~~

No, you don't need it, you'll eventually toss your addiction, it just takes a while. Travel around for a few weeks.

I was going to suggest stumbling the wastes in a shaky haze for a few years. Tends to cure anything but a Jet addiction.
