<strong>[ Game -> Editorial ]</strong>
<p>Gamebanshee have put up the <a href="http://www.gamebanshee.com/news/static/ ... RPWQTG.php" target="_self">third and final part of their Fallout Revisited feature</a>. This consists of the <a href="http://www.gamebanshee.com/editorials/f ... story3.php" target="_self">last half of their editorial on the history and future of Fallout</a> - no new information, just speculation - and <a href="http://www.gamebanshee.com/falloutequipment/" target="_self">an equipment database</a>, which, <a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewto ... >according to NMA</a> newsposter and possibly giver-of-pain Suffer, "<span class="postbody"><em>with NMA's database still broken thanks to our
server and FalloutVault's database not being easy to view thanks to
wiki technology, is probably the best Fallout item database currently
available.</em>"</span></p><p>Fascinating.

FOBOS has Bawls in it? Did Bawls pay for that? Straight outta '50s retrofuture that is not.
Though it amuses me that an energy drink would have the effects of jet or afterburner gum or something. (Energy drinks are, of course, for pussies. I've had two today.)

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Yes they did payed good money for the advertisement, the game was even part of a promo by Bawls ("buy x cases of Bawls and win a wonderfull PS2 game" or something).atoga wrote:FOBOS has Bawls in it? Did Bawls pay for that? Straight outta '50s retrofuture that is not.

That's the reason the first BIS guys that played the game prior to the release sent me a few messages with a sentence in common:
"IT SUCKS DONKEY'S BAWLS!!!!"

i am. what am i supposed to use an equipment database like that for? it's just the stats and the item discription from the games. if i find, say, the lavender flower or the ball gag, and want to know what to do with it, can i look it up in the database? sure, but it won't tell me anything that the game hasn't allready told me. they spent 2 months making that thing? looks more like they spent a month and a half trying to figure out how to access the item files, then gave up and hired some bozo to play through the games and write down the in-game item descriptions.

No, leave it. Thanks.Mr. Teatime wrote:Really? well if you want I'll change your name here. I prefer Kharn though.
Nothing as long as you know exactly what you're looking for and only wish to view it one item at a time.ausir wrote:What's so hard to view about a wiki, anyway?
It's mostly interface that's not too expansive on wiki, though all the info is obviously there

This isn't a ploy for monkeys on computers, even a dumbass could use this properly. There is a category link after all. Screw this, I'm just gonna spam their staff with Goatse.1554 wrote:FalloutVault's database not being easy to view thanks to

It would be good if you implemented tables and chit (which, as far as I can tell, do not exist) containing all related items & their relevant stats (sorting by weapons, chems, armor etc.) and then you could click on individual items, if you wanted, for more info & commentary. The wiki isn't hard to view, but it's not really convenient, either.Ausir wrote:What's so hard to view about a wiki, anyway?

When I was leaving my university res, I cashed in the remainder of my (er, my friend's) res food credit on a crate of Bawls from the cafeteria. Then I stole another crate of Bawls from the same place. So I have an unending supply of energy drink, mangFrater Perdurabo wrote:You're a pussy.atoga wrote:FOBOS has Bawls in it?
