Jericho Premiering Tonight
[ Film & TV -> Update ] - More info on Film & TV: Jericho
The new post apocalyptic television series Jericho is premiering tonight on CBS at 8:00 EST. I had completely forgotten about this until I saw an ad for it. I won't be able to watch it live, so if you can, let me know what you thought of it!

It's gonna suck dick. Theres not gonna be any mutants or ghouls. Probably no references to fallout either. The actors don't look like people who'd survive a nuclear explosion/war/whathaveyou.

ja
[Edit] For being a post apocalyptic show, the explosion was pretty fucking shitty. The mushroom cloud didn't even look good and there was no blast wave. The shit I took during the commercial was more explosive than the nuke.
The townsfolk are more worried about people trapped in a mine and a school bus then the fucking NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!

I watched it and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Although a bit cliched and predictable. There were a lot of worries of radiation, especially when that chick was driving along and suddenly birds where lying dead everywhere. It kinda reminds me of Z for Zacharia on a larger scale. I loved that book and if that's where they're going with the show it might be pretty good.

I recorded it and just got a chance to watch it. I must say that I am pretty disappointed with the scope of nuclear devastation. I was expecting crazy ass shit. And then all of the cliches: bus load of escaped convicts, prodigal son returns home, etc. And how the hell are we expected to believe that the guy can do a tracheotomy with juice box straw??
