Problem with CD ROM and Fallout 1
Hello,
I have an original version of Fallout, however my CDROM does not recognize that there is a disk in the drive. The drive recognizes other disks fine. The Fallout disk has no visible scratches or dirt. I've checked the FAQ, however did not find this specific problem. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I am running Windows XP.
Thank you.

Is it an actual Fallout disk? Or a copy?caretaker1 wrote:Hello,

Hello again,
Some answers to the questions:
1) Windows does not detect the disk at all. I cannot "explore" the contents. Therefore I can't get any of the files onto the HD because I can't see them to select them.
2) It is an original disk that I purchased back when it was still sold retail. It has never left my ownership and no copies have ever been made of it.
