Yes! I've read the 3 books of the serie, and they were all equally great. Brilliant books.

Three books? It's a Trilogy? I know about I, Claudius, obviously, and now I want a copy of Claudius the God, but what's the third? Oh the suspense! Tell me!

Isn't the third Claudius and his wife Messalina?

Anyhow, I'll check it out once I'm home, I have the 3 books.

No, I'm pretty certain you have the titles confused. The second book is Claudius the God: and His Wife Messalina. It's not a different book.

I checked 'em out yesterday, and it seems the first and second books I have are actually the first book divided in two. The second one starts at chapter 16.

I had high hopes for this one, it's been known that they found the outline for this one after FH died, so they only need some moron to connect the dots. But given how the prequels are just laughable, transparent, shallow attempts to cash in this one is going to be even worse. First of all, they're splitting it into 2 books to milk it. Then, I've heard many of the original characters are returning (as clones), which is going to be impossible to pull off. This one's a recipe fpr disaster.

Yeah, that Kevin Herbert Dune stuff smells. Why they can't just let FH rest in peace is beyond me, I guess because there's green to be made, somewhere. When you're so much teh assholes that WOTC won't even work with you, holy shit man, something is wrong. Of course, in the end, I'm actually quite glad there's no D20 Dune, considering how truly awful and jedi-centric that Star Wars D20 shit is. What ever happened to Harrison Solo saying, "Nothing beats a good blaster" ?

Furthermore, fuck D20 :bored:

Anyone here ever campaign any Dune action with that Last Unicorn core book? I have a master copy printed out, ring-bound, and sheet-protected, but I have to convince my asshole friends to drop that worthless star wars shit for something a bit more, uhh, sophisticated.

No gay ass hero characters. No Gurney, no crazy stupid mega-powers, and the campaign would be run almost how like the rulebook sets it up, but with a full House Mentat character doubling as GM. Might be any fun.
