The pretty-boy protagonist told the deaf broad to get the cops to the storm shelter. I'm sure they're all happily down there playing risk or something.Mad Max RW wrote:...I may have blinked, but what happened to the deaf chick and the two policemen in the trunk? They were alive 2 seconds before the shootout then all of a sudden gone.

Last night's episode showed them all in the cellar. Also the deaf chick's brother got stuck in the radioactive rain, but for some reason didn't get very sick. A tv showed a clip from somekinda asian station explaining a bunch of nukes had gone off all over the US. A few other things happened. It was kinda boring actually.
I'm betting that smart black asshole is a bad guy.

the overall story might be interesting but some of the episode plots are boring on the "lassie go save timmy from the well" level.
I was talking to EvoG about the last episode and it looks like some kind of militaristic fascist revolt on the US since it seems the rest of the world was more or less untouched (at least from the one brief image from Hong Kong news). Who, funny enough, speak English. That channel comes in loud and clear on Dish Network btw.

Yeah, pure guesswork on my part. Just looks like your generic "Radioactive waste." barrel, with explosives taped to the top. Unless he detonates it at high altitudes, or in the towns drinking water, I don't think it's going to do too much.Mad Max RW wrote:That's what he was doing? last night's episode was all over the place.
I don't like the episodic story lines. (Save timmy from the well, burning building, bus, etc) It's always the same stupid shit.
That said, I like the characters and world so far. The overall plot is pretty interesting. I hope they're not running too hard with the zomg terrorist angle and stick to the military federale overthrow.
Yay for exploration next week.

Was I the only one that caught the "watch out for giant radiated ants" comment?Killzig wrote:Yay for exploration next week.
