Tarantino and Rodriguez are like those two annoying anime geeks in your math class who wouldn't shut the hell up about how awesome the latest volume of Ranma 1/2 was, only now they're grown adults with too much money.

Only at the end of the day one of them directed Pulp Fiction instead of, not unlike you, going home and jerking off. Past Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, however, I couldn't give a fuck about either one of them, Rodriquez especially.

Vouch.

I think that Tarantino understood that there is no point in making time-consuming, awesome movies (Pulp Fiction), for the little more intelligent, if you can just cater shit (Kill Bill) for retards and everyone will go and see it on the double.

dear santa. ive behaved very good this year so i have an additional wish to that previous total nuclear holocaust-wish: nazi-zombies in the 50's movie. with all violence ever discovered. with tarantino as the director. and a shitload of nukes and gasmask highschool sex in bunkers and patti smith - rock 'n roll swell guy as the end title after everybody dies. thanks in advance santa. youre the greatest.

holiday wishes, vx trauma

Kill Bill took longer to make than Pulp Fiction, and it was more expensive. D:

He said Tarantino took to making cheap, disposable crap instead of well-crafted films. Kill Bill wasn't cheap and took longer to film than his earlier movies. His argument fails. And Pulp Fiction still sucks.

That shit is priceless! That perfectly describes those two fucks. I saw an interview with them together for this movie and I thought they were gonna start jerkin off about these corny old grindhouse movies that nobody cares about. "They're the greatest!" Tarantino shouts. Rodriguez replies " Oh yes oh god yes those sexy memories of seeing grindhouse movies! And seeing as our movie will be the be-all-and -end-all of grindhouse type movies we decided to just name it Grindhouse. Because we admired their efforts but we are now the greatest!"

You know what's got me turned off on Tarantino? The dumbshit's got an original 35mm copy of "Manos: The Hands of Fate" and thinks it's one of the best things ever...

For the uninitiated, "Manos" is arguably the worst movie ever made. And I'm not talking 'good' bad, as in laughable B movie. I'm talking fuckin painful bad. Rip your eyes out of your sockets without blinking bad.

The only real reason for Tarantino's success is because he 'invented' the disjointed method of storytelling with Pulp Fiction. Toss in pop culture references that no one gives a shit about, and suddenly everyone's got a fuckin boner for his movies. I can't fucking figure it out.

And Rodriguez? What the fuck man? I'd rather be anally raped by a chainsaw than sit through any of his movies And no, Sin City doesn't count as one of his movies. That credit goes entirely to Frank Miller. Roddy was just the fuckin monkey with a camera, not to mention he went from that IMMEDIATELY back in to making the shittiest 'kids movies' ever put to screen. He made fuckin Barney look like goddamned cinematic excellence.

In short. No, I'm not going to pay to see this, and I have strong doubts I'm even going to bother wasting precious bandwidth or HDD space on it.

My problem is that Deathproof looks fairly decent while Planet Horror looks pretty mehish. I don't really wanna see Planet Horror but it's a 2 for 1 so what should I do? Obviousily not see either of them or just download Deathproof, but still. Shit sucks.

Edit: Why couldn't "Hobo with a Shotgun" be made instead?
