I don't really give a rats ass about my browser. I use IE right now because I havn't been bothered to get Opera again. I perfer Opera to IE, and I tried FF once and didn't much like it (although I didn't give it much chance). I'd suggest Opera. I don't know much about customization and stuff, but the bittorrent software built into Opera is useless, so I used "save target as..." for torrents so that they weren't intercepted by it. I'd tried setting up an email with Opera once, it seemed overly complicated so I didn't bother sorting it out.
I wouldn't rate my opinion on this matter of much value because I never took the time to sort it out, nor do I know much about the internet... But anyway, Opera is my favourite.

I'm pretty much with TriangleDragon on this one. Performance issues and that lot isn't something you notice, unless it's a question of registry piling, in which case you'll be looking for replacements for most ms shit, like directx, the explorer utility and that whole lot. Everything else is either placebo "feature X" and tall tales of make believe.
What I want from a browser is the Folder -> Internet connectivity, a "Favorites" feature ( actually not that high a priority ) and the rest is just self explanatory ( the ability to traverse the internet LOWL ) -- and IE6 does.

(to Ryno:) Well I'm also on broadband (0.5 mbps), but the sites of today have grown so huge that it still takes considerable time to load pages correctly... Especially since I share the net connection between four computers, of which at least two are constantly used at the same time. I also appreciate that the browser itself loads up quickly so I won't need to chew my fingernails if I want to see my e-mail or surf the net on an older computer.
I guess I'll give Opera a try at some point.

Well at work and at the school I've got those crazy shiz-de-bang speeds, which means that a 700 mb file takes something like 5 minutes to download and shit.
