When I think of Fallout NYC, I think of the city in the original TIME MACHINE movie. When the guy goes to the future just before a nuclear explosion destroys the city. I hate to say it but I am pretty excited to see the Fallout world in three dimensions. Especially the East Coast. Scenery, especially buildings, can have a huge impact on a player's experience.
I know I'm getting my hopes up now. But just imagine walking across the brooklyn bridge (which would be barely standing) and seeing an annihialated NYC on the horizon. And hearing machine gun fire in the distance. And going into the city. It would be hell.
A Fallout East Coast could be cool, certainly. It would be interesting to see the Amish in Lancaster. I can see them becoming militant and wildly protective to keep people from getting at their food, being that they'd have a very good chance of surviving as farmers after the big one.
Or perhaps they set up a free love commune for anyone to come join and be happy?
Amish turning into Hippies? not likely. Although they could grow some mad weed on that farm land of theirs. It's almost crazy enough to work. It's like those super religious chicks who say they will wait for marriage, then fuck like a $2 whore. LOL!
I'm cool with East Coast. Sticking to canon is a tough job even for a Fallout veteran.
