also, none of the stores around here sell kreteks

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

In Australia everything is fine. You get papers everywhere and as far as I know no one cares how old you are.
Or I'm just older than you brats and I simply never faced such primitve problems.
Though, alcohol is sold only when you're 18. (still better than waiting till you're 21... rofl... bitches)
---
What I don't understand about the USA (and maybe canada) and Australia:
You can make a driving license with 16. So you have the responsibility for other peoples lifes (you can kill many people with a car) with 16.
But you can't take responsibility for youself and smoke, drink or have any other real fun untill you're 21 (18 in Australia).
It's one of the greatest things in life beeing young, drunk, enjoying yourself.
And the previously mentioned countries are destroying the youth.
I'm glad I grew up in europe.
And when I see people in my age in Australia, I always see how underdeveloped some parts of their personality are.
And since a part of my family lives in the USA, I can say the same about the US blokes.
Childish. No selfcontrol. Underdeveloped psyche.
(the biggest problem is the lack of self control. getting drunk etc. when you're young teaches a lot about selfcontrol)
Now get fucked. (Cheers )
P.S.:
Last night was a mates b-day. So we partied. Hard. Uncontrolled. Aussie style (with BBQ and he even got german beer coz it's better than aussie or US piss).
P.S.2:

i smoked a joint rolled on the guitar tabs from purple haze once, back in da day. it was big.
edito: kreteks = clove cigarettes ('kretek' is from baha indonesian). someone gave me a pack for my b'day which i greatly enjoyed, and i was previously interested in them because i had been wondering what the hell those black cigarettes i saw people smoking were & megatron mentioned djarum blacks (one of the more popular brands of kretek) on da forums - so i put 2 and 2 together and started looking around for some. perhaps i'll have to try a smoke shop or summat now that i don't have to fuss about not being legal

i buy the bags
but that's because i drink a lotta milk. i have to economize because i drink 2 liters a day, at least! i'm a real man's man.
and they really do sell rolling papers everywhere here. headshops are quite frequent around downtown, and hell, you can find papers (usually in a wide variety) at most book and record stores too. pot culture is really intrusive here, and thus gets quite annoying after a while. i have seen far too many 'pot canada' shirts where the canadian flag is oh so subtly altered so that the maple leaf is replaced by a ganja leaf. i'm far from a nationalist, but that's just tacky.

I've always bought the bags. It was quite an adjustment to buy jugs when I moved to Texas.
Smoking pot itself is pretty tacky, don't you think?atoga wrote:i have seen far too many 'pot canada' shirts where the canadian flag is oh so subtly altered so that the maple leaf is replaced by a ganja leaf. i'm far from a nationalist, but that's just tacky.
I think it should at least be someones own decision. As far as I know.Subhuman wrote:I've always bought the bags. It was quite an adjustment to buy jugs when I moved to Texas.
