How about better implementation of addiction? Like high gambling skill = higher predisposition to gambling addiction.
Or when you rest, you wake up to find yourself, for some reason, at a slot machine or hunched over someone while holding a knife in order to steal for some jet.
I think in including addiction into a game, it has got to hold more power over your character, to the point where it is unpleasant. In FO1 and 2, you just threw up and lost some health at a post-apocalyptic rest stop.

Also your skills were affected.
But the idea is good. What would be great in relation to this, is beeing unable to rest/sleep if the need for drugs is too strong (after 24 h or so) causing further exhaustion and turkey and really bad shit like only negative speech options and after a while a reputation as JUNKIE (higher drug prices for you, people feel sorry for you, hate you or refuse speaking with you etc,)

Bestest idea I've heard in a long time.infirmaryblues wrote:How about better implementation of addiction? Like high gambling skill = higher predisposition to gambling addiction.

I like that idea. Seemingly, however, Beth doesn't like to present consequences at all, so in fact upping the negative modifiers of addiction sounds like an impropable event. If something like this is included, however, you can expect a Rehabilitation Kit readily available throughout the whole wasteland.Dreadnought wrote:What would be great in relation to this, is beeing unable to rest/sleep if the need for drugs is too strong (after 24 h or so) causing further exhaustion and turkey and really bad shit like only negative speech options and after a while a reputation as JUNKIE (higher drug prices for you, people feel sorry for you, hate you or refuse speaking with you etc,)
Dialog Trees that recognize accomplishments based on Personality, Skill, and Intelligence Levels. If you save a city, Barter Should increases. If you defeat an enemy of a city, they should recognize that. If you harm a City (like the Crystal Cathedral in Wasteland) the citizens should come after you. Oblivion was shallow..."our Hero" and “Look at the Muscles…...got lame. Girls should throw themselves at you, old lady's weep, and tough guys clear a path.

shut the fuck up.Maximous wrote:For instance, the NW2 trailer was full of “slow-motion to highlight intense moments. The same can be done with projectiles in FO3.
