What would have had to be done to that rancid lump of shit game to make it worth of the name Fallout while keeping it a 3rd person shooter.

I disagree... it could have been done well, as I atleast consider the fallout universe flexable.

Sure, I'd be ready to lynch the bastards myself if they called it Fallout 3, but spin offs don't have to be bad.
