No. That's my problem with, for instance the Dune tabletop RPG. That you're either a superhero JEDI FAGX0R or you're in the direct employ of Paul Atreides. I say, give all that a rest. Considering people would be pretty exceptional in the year 85 Billion or whatever, coupled with the whole leveling up thing, and maybe a creation ban on, hmm, shit that doesn't make sense. You wouldn't need superhero Paul people, because sticking with a chosen career path would make you godly in a particular field, anyways.

Discussing an [universe made into MMORPG] is like discussing [universe made into movie]. Everyone says how fucking awesome would it be, but they all know it would turn out as bastard child of Final Fantasy X and The Day After Tommorow.

Yeah... and MPROGs suck anyways. But a single-player Dune RPG would have none of the problems associated with a MMMMPORPRGRORGs, namely the homoeroticism and the assfuckage.
