Y'know, albinism raises questions about how ancient cultures would have interpreted it.
The Spaniards who were accepted (briefly) as "gods" were allegedly elevated due to skin color.
I refer to early European exploration/encroachment of the americas.
This may be crap:
1.)http://frontpage2000.nmia.com/~nahualli ... /White.htm
2.) All his ground was ablaze with fire; he burned all the countries with his blast. His eyes were savage as he beheld them; his power flared like fire against them. He heeded not the foreign multitude; he regarded them as chaff...He was also believed to have white skin and red hair...
Ah, fuck it.
I'm not gonna do a thesis paper on this shit.
I just remember as a kid in elementary school I was taught that the Aztecs
or whatever assigned godliness to whitey.
Until they figured out the game.
Apparently the truth is a bit different.

(btw you really are uprooted as a Pole Dreadnought, it's like every kid knows this - at least 'kids' from my 'generation' - from the movie at least. these 2 swords are now used as a road sign pointing to historical sites across Poland, too)

Jagiełło is pronounced more or less /yaGYEL-lo/ but both 'L'sounds (or one suspended) are not actually L's, but rather something like the English /w/ - so perhaps rather /yaGYEW-wo/. The 'o' at the end is short - similar to the o in English 'dog.'vx trauma wrote:how do you pronounce that name? king jello, hero of grunwald? killer of teutons.
