I tend to take things literally, due to my Asperger's Syndrome. It causes me difficulty in detecting subtle emotions, innuendo, thinly veiled threats, and sarcasm. Same applies on written and typed messages.

I'm for animal rights, so I am against suffering of any kind of animal, in any way. Animals can get STDs, injury, plus many of them fight back. Plus they do not know the magnitude of the situation that they are getting themselves into. If animals were smart, they would make better decisions. But they are not, so they can get manipulated and abused, without ways to express their emotions to many humans.
