And you are vaguely aware that there is tons of poeple reading and writing on this site that have nothing against mmorpgs they just cant be arsed posting it cause than they would have to read 4000 lines of text filled with crap insults from you and Rosh.

If you go to other non fanboyism sites and read news about fallout mmorpg you will see that opinion is quite split up. There are those that are excited just about the idea and than there are those that think it would never work. Its not like some of you try to claim that fallout fans dont like the idea of mmorpg and that they dont want it.

haris, have you ever played an RPG in your life, be it fallout or (the horror) a tabletop game? do you know what the definition of an RPG is? after 16 pages, do you still not understand the essential differences between an MMORPG and a singleplayer RPG? there's so much mundane rhetoric in this thread about that, and then you just go and ignore all of it, saying that "MMORPGs are more fun anyway"?

also, no one cares about your fucking MMORPG vacation stories, not could they in any way be construed as "evidence" for what an MMORPG has over a single-player RPG. and you accuse rosh of being inane?

Its a site dedicated to a certain kind of game.. if it has multiplayer or not hardly matters.

haris, have you ever played an RPG in your life, be it fallout or (the horror) a tabletop game?

I have played fallout 1 about 20 times (and by that i mean played trough it) before fallout 2 was even released than i played fallout 2 even more. And yes i have played tabletop rpgs to if by that you mean pnp rpg. I even made my own fallout pnp and played it. Plus i have played so many rpg games that i lost the count of them and list would be to huge to put them all here. All from baldurs gate/nwn series to diablo series wich some of you might say is not rpg. I have even played jaged alliance 1 and 2, i have played old ultima games and even in nes times i played zelda and crap console rpg games like that. Than you can fill the list with morowind, daggerfall, heroes of might and magic series and so on.

And still i think that mmorpgs are the best direction that rpg games went to. I know that not everyone thinks so but for some reason this comunity is under impresion that everyone hates mmorpgs as soon as he is a fallout fan. And thats pure bullcrap.

Yes, split up because most of the people posting there haven't even played Fallout, but just "heard it's a great game". Or started it and found the combat boring. Those people should not be labelled Fallout fans, hence your argument is a non-argument.

Nobody has said all Fallout fans hate mmorpgs, though. A spurious claim at best. But, and pay attention here because I'm going to use inductive reasoning, which might be too much for you, a Fallout fan liked the single-player games Fallout 1/2. This means that de facto all Fallout fans like single player games or at least the single player game Fallout, while only a percentage (no matter how many) also like multiplayer games. Hence, a minority. QED.

As far as i remember from old interplay fallout forums where players where gonna give sugestion on what they want in fallout games multiplayer feature was one of popular demands. Sadly interplay screwed it up and decided that ideas like ak47 in fallout was allso a good idea.

Multiplayer coop, you'll remember, Haris, not a MMOG. True, though, the call for that feature existed, but I wouldn't bet a nickle on it that it represented or now represents a majority on people that identify themselves as "Fallout fans".

Why are you under impresion that you must have certain opinions and be a members of fallout comunity just to be a fallout fan? What, it isnt enough that you played the game and liked it and than moved on to new games? You can be a huge fallout fan and still have completly different opinions than you have Kharn.

Those forums died several years ago,, hence the multiplayer industry was not what it is today so it hardly counts, also, you are not taking into account the "new generation" of gamers out there, 14-16 were hardly in those forums and voting back then where they? Idiot.

Sure, but don't you see a slight paradox in calling yourself a "huge fallout fan", yet to consider multiplayer games inherently superior to singleplayer games? That's like saying "I'm a huge fan of Fallout, but I think FPSs are better than RPGs."
