half-life 2 episode 1, far cry, deus ex, fallout 2, and blade runner i fink. :definitive:

unless you meant games released in zero six, in which case i have no idea

HoMMV, Dominions 3, and Brigade E5

Conquest of the Aegean is pretty groovy, although I haven't had a lot of quality time to spend with it.

weird worlds is a nice lil timewaster. Small portion of time anyway.

for me the best game i played this year was America's Army - I just love the "who's gonna precict whose moves better" thrill plus nice realistic gameplay.

Oh wait, I think it was early this year that I seriously played (and beat) Alpha Centauri first time in my life and it totally rocked - especially the story (yeah, the story. In a strategy game.)

the warriors was released in 2005. still hasn't come out for PC, and it probably never will

edit: from what i can tell though, it's quite the wonderful beat-'em-up & quite true to the original film.

Zelda: minish cap maybe(it was release in 05 but I played it early 06), twilight princess, gears of war, bully.

I haven't even finished the last three but I'm just assuming that they will be the best of the year because I can't think of any other games that were released this year that I have played.

Is it possible (hypothetically speaking, naturally) to download ISOs of PS2/Xbox games, and play them using some kinda emulator? I guess this would require a lot of horsepower though?

How come? And is 4 any good? I'm still playing HOMM3 expansions, and it's getting a bit tedious.
