WoW = ~8 million
GW = ~200k last time I checked.
They want to make a game that hits 1 million within the first year?
I shall say "good luck", as I am confident in Herve's ability to make it piss poor.
The 7 P's:
Proper Previous Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance
That has nothing to do with the above newsarticle, however it just reminded me of it.

then you should've riffed on the fact that according to his filings Herve should long be done gathering funds and as of last notice should've had news in the week after new year's.King of Creation wrote:I know...I just felt like posting something stupid and sarcastic.
Wish he would file for bankruptcy already. The company is DEAD DEAD DEAD.

As I stated in my NMA posts time and time again, I just can not see Interplay ever creating anything of value, much less a Fallout MMO, with Herve at the Helm.
Herve just isn't a savvy enough businessman to manage this Herculean feat. He lacks the inspiration for good business deals, and does not possess any knowledge about the venue of the game industry. All he really has is an IP (Fallout) and a buzzword.
Which is easier to accept as truth? That Herve, with his long history of breaking deals, lying, bad business decisions, no working demo, no concept art, no original fallout writers nor a staff of any type managed to find, 7 days after being served an involuntary bankruptcy order, an unknown, secret, investor with ultra-deep pockets to funnel some $75 million into a untested MMO genre that will take 3-4 years to start yielding a profit.
Or, Herve hustles up a document filled with misspellings, inaccuracies, fallacies, cheap graphics and unrealistic expectations claiming to have secret investor a week after being threatened with bankruptcy?
