So what did you do, charm all the monsters in the multitude of dungeons in Oblivion and ask them nicely to stop hitting you, hand over all their loot and clean the damn place up/install some decent lighting?Oblivion wasn't quite up to par, in my opinion. Still, I just beat it yesterday and I enjoyed it. I guess I'm the kind of person, though, who doesn't play the game sold to me. I add a lot to my experience through imagination.
No, you crawled the dungeons as they were designed. That's all this game has the capacity for.
Fuck God and fuck you.Anyway, having beaten Oblivion, I started looking around for FO3 info to see how long I had to wait, and came across this forum. I honestly don't understand the debate. There wasn't going to the a Fallout 3. Now there is. Thank God.
Neither of the fallout games used the infinity engine. Why do you even bother bringing this up?The strength of Black Isle's games were never in the engine. The focus was never on the mechanics, hence their continuing to release Infinity-engine games long after the system was considered obsolete.
Speak for yourself. We all loved the Infinity-engine,
That's exactly what the infinity engine is.but shit.
Did you work hard to get this stupid?Fallout 2 is still there for you guys to play. Who are these dumbasses who want Fallout 2 part 2?
First person? Why not third person? The opportunity to experience the wasteland in first person is something that I look forward to.
I didn't know anyone here was advocating the Fallout license be revived as an Infocom type game.To see the radioactive glow at the crater-dented horizon instead of just being told that it's there.
This statement right there is why this:I don't know. I don't give a damn. If it sucks, oh well.
Is utterly hilarious. You don't care if it sucks but you love Fallout? I bet you still don't get it. Even though I highlighted it for you. Try to find the incongruity. I know you can. Just try. Come on, keep at it. No? Ask your dad? Don't know who your dad is? Oh right, I forgot you were a fatherless son of a whore.simply doesn't love Fallout as much as the rest of us.

Actually no, I thinks 'zig could've done this better: some bashing is only for bashing's sake, like it's no need to fuck the guy for the imaginary advocating 'infinity engine' since he only says the engine (and perspective?) is not central to the quality of Interplay's games.
But hey, good spanking is always a fun read
