I spotted this article from the Bethesda website (don't ask, don't tell) linking me to Firing squad. Article on Firing Squad
Of important notice to me was this at the bottom...
Mark Nelson: We're very excited about the Shivering Isles expansion, as we feel it really represents the best of what Oblivion has to offer. As always, I’d like to thank our fans for the support they’ve given to us over the years, and for their support of Oblivion. They are a passionate group, and we don't always see eye-to-eye, but we listen to what they say, and we try to respond to them as best we can. Hopefully, this expansion will bring them many hours of enjoyment as they explore the world of the Shivering Isles.
I see, yes they do listen to their fans but not to us? Why the hell don't they have this relationship with us?
Consider the level of discourse on the Elder Scrolls forums, and the fact that it's moderated so heavy-handedly that it would make Stalin cringe. Getting opinions on game design out of there is like the New York Yankees scouting for talent at the Special Olympics.

I cant find it.. where is the bethesda forum?? Let me guess they dont have fallout3 in their forum and wont have it til release. Good developers would at least have a forum where fans can suggest stuff and have devs/mods reading the suggestion really.
The company hasn't made a single announcement about Fallout 3 other than that they acquired rights and then began production. Why bother making a forum for a game that is just vaporware.
off topic? OMG YOU'VE BEEN CENSORED... yet you're still posting. MYSTARY!!!!
Well that and the only people really interested are Fallout Fans (And I guess Beth fanboys) and we all know where the fallout fans stand, for the most part, so until they can build up some hype in X-Box magazine or whatever and draw more people's interest, they'd only receive complaints on a message board for Fallout.
They'll probably draw interest from 'passive' Fallout Fans, causing them to unload heaps of shit in their forum once they get active.
They might also attract the attention of more kiddies, but they'll drown under the offensive eloquence of the Fallout Fans.
They might as well attract some... let's say OPTIMISTIC people without the urge to stand for what they believe that might be good. They're gonna be totaly insignificant to anyone.
All options lead to one final conclusion:
IF they open a Fallout 3 forum, it's gonna drown in shit.
