Very nice read.

I wonder why the story/backstory is not involved in the list. I personally like Fallout(s) whole backstory leading up to the current events. Maybe I should write my own article :P

I'd imagine that falls under setting.

Finally, a quick read! Something that doesn't eats 30 minutes of my day (or night).

Keep on rockin', angsty midget!

Very interesting article.

In regards to the importance of good dialogue, I couldn't agree more. I keep reading on various boards and so on that people are tired of reading through pages and pages of pointless dialogue and would rather just be told what to do and where to go. Sure, most of these are console kiddies, but some are just tired of the really pointless stuff. If it's not important, amusing, or contributing a great deal to the setting (there's probably something else but I can't think right now), then it should be scrapped.

Agreed.

The role play element requries a GOOD dialouge system.

FO is the best example of this, as you replies could signifinctly alter the game experince.

Very nice, keep 'em coming. You've inspired me to start thinking about writing something for the site as well. I plugged the article on my blog, which surely means you've arrived.

port it to the place? no not the time yet, we're still in the 'joyful anticipation' phase, but later this stuff could be well-fitting at the place :chuckel:

very nice. you may want to spend a bit more time on proof-reading, but that's just me being a nitpicker. all in all, an inspiring read.
