Isn't Resident Evil supposed to be about killing zombies and/or pokemons? It looks like a decent post-apoc movie, but I bet those japs still manage to fuck it up somehow.

I was under the impression that the Resident Evil movies were American cinema attrocities, not Japanese.

Nope. That was House of the Dead.
Hunted by the minions of the scheming Dr. Isaacs, Alice has zombies hungry for her flesh and lab rats hungry for her blood, while Alice is hungry for Revenge.
Hoho. Is it the sequel for that killer mice B-flick?
Alice will use her psychokinetic abilities as seen in the ending of Apocalypse. Milla has said, "She has some crazy new powers".
This is ridiculous. How long does it takes to notice it? Resident Evil never had a superhuman protagonist.

Death to Paul W. S. Anderson.

Do the movies even bear any tangential relation to the games anymore? Why call it "Resident Evil"?

And man was that shitty. I watched it with a friend and I honestly think I'd have prefered 4 months at the Hanoi Hilton.

Well, the console games were done by those evil gooks. Remember Pearl Harbor?! :salute:

Yea, but there's such a huge disconnect between the games and the movies that I don't think you can really count them as the same thing?

Ah well, I'm not that much into the Resident Evil mythos. However, the movie should be about hunting zombies in a mansion on a dark and stormy night. Why else call it Resident Evil?

Why? It's so generic.

Never played the games.

First movie was mediocre but ok.

The second one had some good scenes (maily due to the post appox scenes) but was kinda shitty.
