i got hammer and sickle and keep having to kill everyone in the town so i stopped playing it. i might start silent storm again.

I just started playing this game again after promising myself for like a year or two. I got the game when it came out and played it but I didn't get far into it. The engine is very well done and fairly user friendly but there are still some things I don't fully understand. In the latest patch it says that they made it so character can look for 0 ap but there is still the attribute on all the character sheets for it and I was wonder if there is a difference between the two? Do i have to waste one attribute point just to get the other ones below it?

Also my first scout died after entering that building that is rigged to explode and I laughed because I couldn't lift him out of the basement. I just finished the mission where you go to that train place and stop a german attack. Now i'm at the mission where your in a german town and there is like a group of 5 soldiers that patrol and move around.
