I leeched this at a LAN some 4 months ago, but blew the PSU on the comp. Finally bothered to play it, and it's actually pretty funny. Nice creepy atmosphere, and it's had a few parts where I've jumped. Much like one of those other games I played (Call of Cthulu?) you don't have gun sights, not even iron sights, and you have to physically check your guns ammo supply, and when you run out you just beat the shit out of people with the gun.
For some reason though, it either got reemed due to the no 18+ rating here in Aus, or it just didn't get distributed much here. Anyone else played it? It does seem rather fun in a almost VtM-BL haunted mansion kind of way.
edit: finished in roughly 6 hours. Twas fun, but just like afformentioned Bloodlines the last stage was utter wankery, and didn't really offer the closure to the story that I was hoping.

I remember playing that game for a bout an hour. The whole picking up dead birds thing was odd. It was a well spent hour, I guess, but I didn't have to buy the thing, so ehue and whatnot.

Pretty much zombie hunt. Go here, do this, kill these drug addicts on the way. The most indepth it ever really got was finding certain breaching weapons. Fireaxes could chop down certain doors, sledgehammers for padlocks and crowbars for safes/gates.VasikkA wrote:I've never heard of it. Doesn't look so special judging from screenshots. Are there any puzzles or just the stardard straightforward zombiehunt?
And yeah, the birds thing. Yet another thing the game never really explained about. You get dropped some hints that all the many psychos are increasing in the area of dead birds, and they seem to just use them like unlockables for concept art. It feels like there's a bit more to the story they ment to add into the game, but never did. :kotor2:
