No Danny Boyle? WTF?

Not that the original was an unqualified masterpiece or anything, but still.

i dont think this has any reason to exist. where the original film ended is where it had to end, and taking it any further is just a dumb attempt to cash in. why do people insist on taking things farther than they have any reason to go? this is simply going to ruin the feeling you were left with at the end of the first one.

Pretty much, but who knows. Maybe it'll have a twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalananananalan.

M. Night Shamalayan twists suck ass. His movies were cool five years ago but every director and his mother has copied his senseless twist style and now I want him dead.

Two (that I recall) aspects of 28 Days Later ruined the film for me. They were :

That woman with the TEETH whose name I cannot be bothered to type did not die horribly or at all.

Tacked on bollocks in the form of an unreasonably optimistic ending.

Cunts.

As the sequel will almost certainly possess a higher clearance of dire, I do doubt my future viewing of it. :drunk:

See quote reply 2. (below)

Maybe they learned from their mistakes. I mean the fact, that the whole repopulation thing fucks up and shit.

Imagine:

The US army reckons shit is allright. So they are all  and LOL and :drunk: and they have a total sloppy approach and are unprepared.
So they step in this huge pile of shit and an awefull smell starts spreading. The US army gets the shits and evacuates. Of course the disease spreads over the whole world (they said that the virus is gonna be more dangerous and since a mutation of the virus would make the whole shit totaly ridiculous, they probably mean a global spreading of the virus, what makes the whole thing rather realistic).
So LOTS of people die. Including those we hate (excluding me). :lalala:
It's rather unlikley that humanity will ever VANISH due to such a virus, because there are heaps places faaaaaar away which can be easily quarantained. And we all learned the raging zombies starve after a while.
So I reckon 90 % of humanity will disappear, together with lots of animal species.
The ending won't be as optimistic as the first time, but it will be disappointing. False hope again, and the next movie 28 Years Later will show a future after the zombies raged.
So there will be some zombies left and used for pitfights and shit like that.
And for military experiments.
Shit starts again, but more in the fashion of JASON X or RESIDENT EVIL (movies).
And lots of Image mowing down shitloads of Image
