There were more than 3 TC mods for OFP
THres a stargate mod
A Civil war mod
A WW2 mod
A jurasic park mod (which was only in alpha stage last I saw of it)
And various TC mods for various nations armed forces.
SuperH, I never said I was in infintry.
And Splatterpope is right, OFP/ArmA is a sim more than a shooter.
Tho it rocks as a shooter too.
The games designed so that you can DL addons in the form of a single new weapon, a new soldier unit, a new vehicle, stuff like that.
And all thats needed to install it is put a single file into the addons folder (some addons have multiple files, but that makes no real differnce really)

Addon Pack = WW2, FFUR
Addon = stargate
Anyone can make a new menu and replace shit. Total conversion mods were those few that changed everything from 3000 voices and all veichles etc.
Animals in OFP was a joke, the Dinosaurs in the Jurrasic Park Mod had tank tracks after them.

Actualy, the stargate pack was more of a TC.
True, it didnt do shit like change the menu, but that sorta fluff is irrelvent to me, Id rather the ingame aspects be changed.
Theyve got a functional gate, functional ring transport, the SGC, the F302 and deathgliders, SGC soldiers, Jaffa, functional stargate weapons from the staff weapon, to the Zat guns (they even stunn you first hit), even the stun only Intars, plus a stargate map.
Its enough to be a TC od in my mind, as you can have the map, all the units, and a good bit of the scenery be all custom based.
And the civil war mod is deffinitly a TC mod.

The Stargate Worlds map I DLd was something like 8 differnt large islands of differnt terrain ranging from artic, to desert, to insane cliff's, to farmland.
Either you DLd a differnt one, or you didnt have the landscape addon packs it required.
Thats my one gribe with addon makers.
They make an addon that looks kickass, you DL it, then discover you need a few other differnt small addons to make it work, and one of them always is no longer hosted.
