The <a href="http://www.japantimes.co.jp/" target="_blank">Japan Times</a> brings us <a href="http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/ ... 418f3.html" target="_blank">the story</a> of a new type of Power Armour, aimed at older people and people with disabilities. Built by the Secom Company, the suits will interpret electrical impulses in the brain and translate these into robotic movement.

"...the company started constructing a manufacturing facility recently to produce 400 to 500 suits annually starting in 2008.
For an individual, the suit will be leased for 70,000 yen a month plus a maintenance fee."</em> <em>

The popularization of robots for home use, such as this one, is targeted to 20 years from now, when the baby boom generation will reach their 80's, according to the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization.

I'm still missing a decent helmet.
The white color looks like Starwars-Imperial assault troopers.
Is it available in Wasteland design, too?
Where can I preorder?

I imagine myself being 60 years old and wearing one of those power armors and kicking the shit out of some young burglar. Take "owned" picture now.

I was talking about the year 2040 or so, where the postapocalyptic wasteland was rebuild again with beautiful the same looking Reihenhäusern(houses) :salute: Where Crime rate is so high as a sky scraper.
Better put your paranoia at ease or focus it on other targets, eh?
