TES Main Writer GONE
[ Game -> Update ] - More info on Game: Fallout 3

For those of you who weren't the biggest fans of the writing in the TES games, I have some good news for you. It appears he doesn't work for Bethesda anymore. Via Briosafreak's Fallout 3 blog:

a trip back to visit my friends there in the US
I saw some artwork for the concepts and stuff… Obviously I can’t discuss
specifics, but it looked very VERY nice. I think they are managing to make it
look far and away different from the style they use in TES games, so I think
that will help.

As far as writing is concerned, I ain’t too worried about that either.
The fact that the main writer for the TES games no longer works there means you
probably won’t have his “touch” influencing it. Which is not to say that I
think Ken would do a bad job.

What? Dude, Ken Rolston left Bethesda like 5 millenia ago.
Ok, not 5 millenia, but right after the release of Oblivion. He retired, originally, but now he's working for Big Huge Games.

nobody tells me anything, like that one time Susan invited everyone to french canada for a poutine party and noone told me so I missed the whole thing... I was told later that some crazy shit happened that night, andEh...I didn't know, and I'm pretty sure at least 80% of the people who read this didn't either.

Edit:
He, however, can still jump.

i doubt that the ex-TES writer is responsible for that. Some dumbass from Beth had this idea with "Rumors?" to make it more console friendly and to reduce brain overheating or something. Its just funny, that it seems they are using that shit system on every TESgame now, they seriously need a new engine and to see Fallout on that engine sucks probably, too. But meh.S4ur0n27 wrote:Rumors?
