It was possible to have girlfriends in the game.
And you could choose which one you wanted, how :game freedom:
Dont forget the awesome weather effects back in the time.
I cant tell you about the N64 version, i havent played it, but 2D looks probably better anyway.
The key problem with Haris' game design is he takes potentially good ideas.
And then executes them in the most horrible fashion that it's not fun.
Cooking would be a cool feature in a game like fallout, but as long as it's simple and not an integral part of the game.
Cook shit to gain HP, kill rats/scorpions/dogs/etc. Better cooking skills regains more HP, but when you make it such a long and cumbersome process to even acquire that skill.
It becomes fucking boring.
Same thing with the rest of the gameplay. Buying any kind of weapon was an affair of simply repeating the same combat engagements fifty MILLION times over until you can buy a fucking crossbow. YAY.
What he should have done is retained the original fallout gameplay, and simply -enhanced- it. Not reworked it so it's like a single player mmorpg.
Internet has some good points, like porn or free games , but the terrible downside is giving morons like Haris everything they need to be seen everywhere
