More on the Van Buren Dialogue

Post by King of Creation »

<strong>[ Game -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="#Fallout 3 (Van Buren)">Game: Fallout 3 (Van Buren)</a>

<p>With regards to the <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17439" target="_self"><em>Van Buren</em> dialogue files</a> that were posted on DAC earlier today, the eminent <strong>JE Sawyer</strong> made <a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewto ... 0920">this comment</a>:</p><blockquote><p><em><span class="postbody">
If it helps, I think all of our game dialogues were just compiled Small
scripts with the .dmx extension instead of .amx. Fun fact: every time a
dialogue compiled, the tool would play a five second clip from DMX's
seminal work, "Up in Here".

Hacking our .b3d format might be a bit more difficult, but I hope
you eventually figure it out, if only to see the 15mm ARTEMIS, which
was truly hilarious.

EDIT: Also, I think those Jericho/Mesa Verde dialogues were written by Jeff Husges.</span></em></p></blockquote><p><span class="postbody">So all you modders out there: get crackin</span>
