Unarmed or Mellee?

I love the Advanced Power fist but I really like the Washaski Blade as it looked really cool but it does crappy damage.

I didnt like it because it takes 4ap whereas the powerfist, advanced hammer etc. just take 3.

I'd go for Unarmed, power fist with the slayer perk is very effective, and fun.

Unarmed all the way... But no need for Powerfists ;)

Jab 'em to death. Leaves you up tons of small energy cells richer :D

Unarmed. Because that would be closest to me in real life, and it's much more noble to fight without weapons :)

Lets say you have money to burn and want maximum damage per turn.
What do you go for? Within Melee or Unarmed.

So far I'm going unarmed, but I'm debating whether i should Tag Melee weapons also, since my perks (Bonus HtH damage/attacks) apply to both unarmed and melee.

Ive got a ton of energy cells more than I actually need. I havent bought 1 but now Ive got around a thousand just from what Ive found. I use my power fist as a back up to my Big Guns so I dont go through cells too quickly.

Unarmeds good because you can get Lo Pan or the Dragon to teach you up to 71 for free.

Ive got 106/8 in both my mellee and unarmed and I seem to make contact more with my fist than with a mellee weapon, plus I hate having to wait an hour then run after them when they go sliding across the map after I smack 'em with the Hammer.

Hmm... When i hit em with unarmed, they sometimes go flying also.
I guess unarmed is better with that, though, because with super sledge i have to waste points running them down.

Unarmed: Super Power Fist.

Melee: Super Sledge, Ripper, Wakizashi Blade, Little Jesus...

I think Melee is fun :D

If you're going for unarmed/melee weapons make sure you fill the requirments Slayer perk needs or you'll have trouble against stronger foes. A close combat char is definetly worth trying 8)

Unarmed owns melee...and having training in it will make some quests just pathetically easy (boxing...kung fu fighting)

And you don't need slayer really unless you use fast shot. Aimed shots to the eyes with the power fist do wonders to just about everyone.

Just make sure you have some kind of ranged backup..small arms..energy...throwing and a couple-dozen grenades...
I'm not evil, I just like making things explode

I think my next character will have to be either unarmed or melee... I haven't done that yet... and I am sure it would be so much fun. ;)

I'm trying that with my current game. I'm in Klamath with a pair of spiked knuckles I stole off the Dunton's. My melee is all that great, been improving my unarmed, and working on melee next.
